Heh, I had quite a bit of fun with this one. I intended to use oil pastels to colour (which might have turned out better) but I did not want to re-sketch it. This was another lighting challenge for me and a bad background again; I think it is supposed to be Applejack's barn or something.
I both scanned and took a picture for this one. The picture turned out better because it somewhat fixes the lighting. There are some things I can with with my phone's camera that my scanner cannot.
Here Rainbow Dash sleeps by/with Applejack. What AJ is doing is completely out of my hands/hooves/ paws/talons.

My, my, my. How come didn't I see this before? I must fix that. Ahem.
Once again, the shading looks to me just perfect. And one thing I will never ever be able to do, you did that thing really well. That damned blanket and its creases. So much hate for those things Anyway, as I was saying, you did a great job on them. What I like most about your art is the several details you pay attention to. The bales of hay, AJ's hoof on Rainbow's own, the Pegasus' mane, the stetson hat... I also find particularly adorable Dash's expression and little smile, I feel like she's thinking "No need to worry 'bout anything, I've got my beloved by my side"... I know, that was stupid. But I can really catch that sense of knowledge of no danger in her bliss, if we can call it so.
